You can upload images to be shown in your User Profile or to be used in the stories you submit to GaySpiralStories.
These rules apply regardless whether you upload the images to GSS itself or if they’re just linked to from any content available on the site (stories, comments, profile text…):

Any character shown must be at least 18 years old

Copyrighted material must not be used (only images openly available on the net or created by yourself are fine). If anyone claims ownership of any image on GSS, I’ll remove it immediately.

Soft Porn is allowed, i.e. general nudity, display of erect penises, exposed asses etc.

Hard-core Porn is forbidden, i.e. any kind sexual act (fucking, sucking, fingering, fisting, cum-shots, peeing, playing with toys…) must not be shown!

All images must be in one of the formats .png, .jpg or .gif. The best format to use is jpg!

Animated gifs are ok, if they fit into the size limit.
Avatar Image
The avatar image can be uploaded on the top of your User Profile Page. The avatar image will also be shown on your stories and the comments you write, it represents you. Having said that, you can still be as naughty as you want with them (within the rules listed above), so if you want to show a dick or an ass as your avatar, be my guest!

Avatar pics are always shown inside a circle. You can upload any kind of image, but only its center will be shown, so better use a square image.

The image will be automatically rescaled internally to not exceed 400 pixels in each dimension (keeping the aspect ratio intact of course). The overall image size (after the rescale) must not exceed 150 kB, or the image will be rejected.
Profile Image
The profile image can be uploaded on the right hand side of your User Profile Page. It will only be shown on your profile and is just meant to be an illustration for it. Whether you show a picture of yourself or any other motif is totally up to you.

The picture will be shown to use max. 40% of the width of the profile page. An image in portrait orientation will work better for this.

The image will be automatically rescaled internally to not exceed 1200 pixels in each dimension (keeping the aspect ratio intact of course). The overall image size (after the rescale) must not exceed 500 kB, or the image will be rejected.
Both the avatar as well as the profile picture will be shown in full size if the user clicks them.
