I’m still fairly new to the site, and fairly new to writing anything that i am comfortable sharing, but i agree that more “bear” stories would be nice.

I’m not into inanimate transformation, but as someone who loves puns, I feel like it’s a missed opportunity for there to not be a Christmas themed story called “Don, We Now Are Gay Apparel”

Once again as has been mentioned on this thread write what you feel comfortable with
this is a suggestion box for something that you’re open to, try it out. But personally I’ve recently got a hankering for what I would call Totem or Incubus stories. This is where it’s not directly a person, even though it may be an overall entity or feeling that is causing the transformation. My idea is someone buy something at a swap meet or something puts it on a mantle place and then slowly over time their mind or Life Starts to change. I prefer this being a bit more mind control than adding out transformation so they will find themselves. I guess the idea is the difference between.finding a genie and uhm it happens like an item is nearby and seems to drive people mad or tempt them with visions, or illusions like like the One Ring (ugh POOR example but certain to communicate and be known)

I’ll try to edit this but it’s always a struggle with no keyboard and autocorrect - But basically I wanted to know about an object being in control. Not necessarily machine directly hypnotizing people. But again the idea of a totem or an item that someone has acquired that is slowly altering them. I really prefer the idea of mind control here from the perspective of the victim.

More along the lines of they place it in their house maybe it’s a painting maybe it’s a kind of perverted Hotei statue.
Whatever the case after they do so they find that they’re thinking certain things. They’re having certain dreams.
“Hey what’s up? Where I put it last night? Why don’t I get this instead when I go shopping?”
Maybe they find that they’ve been doing things that they don’t realize. But then they see it and they remember it even if “I don’t know why.” Unconsciously or not they’re setting things up so that they can draw in scenarios or persons for the amusement or fulfill the agenda of the object. Maybe it manifests as an actual physical being or it only wants them to sleep in the house so that it can peruse their dreams like an incubus would. Dlowly tempting and altering their mindset planting ideas or desires or thoughts until they become something else. There’s no immediate direct transformation it’s all slow and gradual even if the story itself doesn’t have to run long.
Anyone who sleeps in the presence of the object or totem or whatever or stays there too long find themselves altered along certain ways things that the totem would enjoy and perhaps as partial reward or inspiration from the first victim or any other victims in its presence.
Next idea would be
… p**** Vision. You know how people will buy those x-ray specs?. Well this idea combines with an episode of Dave the Barbarian involving the rose-tinted glasses. While they’re on a person they experience/see a sort of more sexualized sensual or p*** oriented version of people, places, and things. So of course we could play with the idea
are they seeing what they want to see? are they seen with the glasses want to see? are they seeing what secretly what they are looking at wantor could or ARE?
I think an essential aspect of this is while screened and filtered it wouldd not immediately exclude things that would not fulfill the story. Of course the glasses should take on the form of something sexual. Aviator Shades? maybe classic dark sunglasses. Just no hipster specs please. Maybe they can actually be rose-colored.
I have some ideas of where this plot device will lead but that’s the basic operating idea.
Wear these and you see things from a tilted and filtered perspective aimed at the sexual. Everyone seems sexual or you can see the more sexualized or pornographic or weirdly eroticized versions of what you gaze at. Maybe there are different shades for different sexual leanings.
But and this is where my personal preferences come in. You don’t eliminate either men or women when you put them on. You see a version that fits what’s in view. You’ll have to work a little after but the idea is that you’re getting a look into a porn netopia.
I might go with the idea that doing so allows you to reach into the person well at least get a perspective that can help you talk them into a snare “I know that you want” or "what you can truly be’
So your neighbor who is single? You can see what she likes for sex and then maybe the person tries it? It’s a total Power Trip. And then they can sort of maybe tune it for different things maybe when they get ones that are totally BDSM aligned. So they can view everyone they want in that way. But it’s a pain to take them off because everyone looks not quite as sexy or sexualize or available. The glasses at least perceives something to be made real. And then the user would be able to use what they see while wearing the glasses or having worn the glasses in order to progress through the dialogue tree to thier vision in order to get what they saw with the glasses. Of course the Temptation is in order to leave them on forever and stay in your porn perspective. I’m not sure if this means that they’re trapped in a false delusion or if that then helps them proceed to warp things to the perspective that they keep seeing while at the exact same time being able to influence what they’re seeing and make it reality
This last one is dark.
Basically I have this fantasy where, perhaps, a person ends up kind of a dress up doll. Not physically. This fantasy is silly and difficult. But basically at some point either a giant that lives in that old house by the neighborhood or in their dreams or somewhere that’s just out of sight that they keep going to or cannot avoid …pulls a male victim up and then starts undressing them learning and enjoying the sensation before pulling from a set of clothes and accessors to cloth and decorate them differently. And whatever they put them in changes their attitude. Like the identities of a doll. You know Malibu Barbie, beach house Barbie, Winter getaway, and so on. Through in this case, of course, we’re talking different fetishes or easy to make erotic identities.
Everything they wear helps direct them towards a certain outcome. And at the same time through them this clothing or accessories (rings, earrings, piercings, glasses, detailed is cool here) is where they feel the presence and the eyes of the person who dressing them. Even if this person themselves doesn’t actually have sex with them. It’s as if the act of dressing and changing them and sending them out to act out an encounter, or more experience them, is what’s most pleasing to them. You get to experiment with various different looks. And the shifts need to be as subtle in form as they can be radical in terms of personality. And then of course there are the complications with everyone who sees this person who barring individual encounters is still recognizable as having been themselves even as a rapidly change, to a degree… maybe.
All the while the core personality has an existential crisis. They are enjoying the compulsions, new identities, the blanking to be undressed into an Anon and then being dressed up and run out to play in these various roles over and over again. I suppose the endgame would be when this Barbie decides to recruit their Ken or Stacy or what have you. They go from Mere subject to co-conspirator wanting someone else to join in and grasping them along
I’m currently writing a story where an object controls a person. Regarding the power of objects to influence minds, it’s hard for me not to think of Proust. Right before the famous madeleine scene, as a preparation for that, Proust writes this passage:
“I feel that there is much to be said for the Celtic belief that the souls of those whom we have lost are held captive in some inferior being, in an animal, in a plant, in some inanimate object, and thus effectively lost to us until the day (which to many never comes) when we happen to pass by the tree or to obtain possession of the object which forms their prison. Then they start and tremble, they call us by our name, and as soon as we have recognized them the spell is broken. Delivered by us, they have overcome death and return to share our life.
Maybe this will provide inspiration to others.

I feel like there should be more psychological stories rather than focusing on physical. Most of the stories I really like barely have any harmful stuff because of how creative and well executed the psychological aspects are. I really do enjoy stories that have “antidotes” such that it gives the main characters a fighting chance.
Sometimes the mind control might be too easy and doesn’t give enough insight into the mind. I love stories that build up to the mind control, or have twists. I also really like the idea mentioned in this thread about items possessing (objects controls a person). It is kind of interesting.

As some other people have said I’d like to see more stories where the subject who’s controlled/changed starts out as already gay rather than as a straight guy who’s turned gay. I’d also love to see more stories where the top is the submissive or controlled one one and/or where the subject ends up as a top (whether he’s turned into one or started as one and stays one while changed in other ways).
I’d love more world domination stories that aren’t superhero, alien, or spy related. Ones where its just a guy that got their hands on something and took over the world in a moment, but it isn’t realty change. More stories like this one “Master’s Favorite”, where the world is going along like normal and then suddenly everyone is realizes they have to serve one person, and we see the fall out of that.

I’ve been a primarily MC fetishist for about 17 years. I prefer plots based more around the MC device. Sort of like Webb or Edlam’s stories.
I would like to see more free-for-all MC or MC backlash situations rather than the simple “nerd control jock plot”. These days I prefer things like “nerd tries to control jock, jock gets control of nerd and people battle for control”.
I would also prefer more bi stories, but that’s really pushing it.
PS: If anyone wants to make any suggestions of older stories like this, I’m all ears.
How about a story where men are pigified. Hypnotized into dirty rutting beasts. Stinky sweaty mud covered beasts rutting and having sex. Kind of a mind control Circe type thing. Just a thought I’d share with y’all.

What a sick… and hot idea… 
I had two recent ideas.
The first is out gay pov man gets hired to teach general education at a 18 to 21 religious youth center. He uses hypnosis and subliminal programming to get the males to slowly become his.
A precursor to said idea was the idea of a graduate student getting hired to teach the mandatory General Psych undergraduate course at the university he attends. As part of it he slowly hypnotizes his students into submission.
The other recent idea I had was a few people crash land on an island. One is gay the others were bullying coworkers. Upon landing he finds ways to take control of them one by one, leading to sex and their submission to him.
Just some random ideas I had. Hehe
As a final thought. I would love to see more stories with the pov being the controller rather than the pov being the submissive. Though I don’t mind, and quite enjoy, switch pov - as long as the dominant is the main.
I prefer the controller winning rather then them getting their comeuppance. But I also like the idea of the lide of the one hypnotized ends better, for all that its altered, by the events.

The island story sounds awesome. Especially if muscle growth is involved. Maybe if the co-workers were stuffy business men to begin with. Slowly turn one into a cock hungry muscle bulls, another into a frat boy bottom, the third and fourth into big dumb muscle jock stereotypes etc…
